i used my own makefile. maybe should add a refresh function, so a dialog will let user select the added files?
AnonymousParticipantHi i have tested the new version, i can confirm:
1) The uninstalling driver problem, and i can confirm also the solution, just write on cmd “driverquery”
1) The version 3.4 instead 3.6 on the main windowAfter uninstalling the driver, WinCDEmu leaves some traces on the register, here:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESYSTEMControlSet001ServicesBazisPortableCDBus
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESYSTEMCurrentControlSetServicesBazisPortableCDBus
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESYSTEMControlSet001EnumRootLEGACY_BAZISPORTABLECDBUS
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESYSTEMCurrentControlSetEnumRootLEGACY_BAZISPORTABLECDBUS
You have forgot to remove those key and subkey after uninstalling? It’s the portable version, so you need to remove all the traces on the register.
And i agree also in this new feature:
1) The batchmnt for the portable version, with the feature for install/uninstall the driver
2) Add a feature for remove the ISO, not the drive directlyI’m so happy for this new version 😉
AnonymousParticipantThanks for the new version. First two problem:
1) The .exe says 3.6 but the GUI 3.4, it’s not a problem but i don’t know if you know
2) Always same problem about uninstalling
Try by yourself:
1) Open WinCDEmu
2) Click OK – Install driver
3) Uninstall the driver
4) Open Wincdemu
5) Click OK – Install driver
6) ERROR:
Driver installation failed:
The specified service has been marked for deletionWe have only two solution
1) Reboot the system and WinCdEmu can install the driver
2) Open cmd –> type “driverquery” without quotes and WinCdEmu can install the driver
The solution is easy, add a driverquery command after the driver uninstalling3) What about the batchmng?
Maybe is cool to add the command line, it’s the most feature request. And maybe add the option to install/uninstall the driver throught commandline, i have talked with some user of the forum and the agreeThanks and have a nice day 😉

in fact I have just converted the project to VS2010 and the VisualGDB properties UI works well. So it seems a problem with the current implementation using VS2008.
Could it be possible to have this working in a future version of VisualGDB? Because it would not be possible in some cases to convert all our projects to VS2010.
Thanks,
JavierAnonymousParticipantSo if it can be updated by Makefile?
AnonymousParticipantAnd uninstalling WinCDEmu does not work, let alone fix the broken file associations.
This software is an eff-ing rubbish.
AnonymousParticipantI’d like to see a new portable version with that feature, a command line can be very useful
AnonymousParticipantGot it fixed, I’m wondering if something is missing from the installer?
I added to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESOFTWAREClasses a new key called vmnt64.exe, and subkeys:
vmnt64.exe += shell += open += command
The default value for that last key is set to “C:Program Files (x86)WinCDEmuvmnt64.exe” “%1”
Then, I changed the default value for HKEY_CURRENT_USERSoftwareMicrosoftWindowsCurrentVersionExplorerFileExts.isoUserChoice to “vmnt64.exe”. (Somehow my account was explicitly denied write access to that key, but fortunately I could remove that policy)
I think the important thing was that first step, and that the rest could have been done using Open With => choose default program
AnonymousParticipantI forgot to tell: When I right click, select ‘Open With’, and then select another application, it does work. So I can open an iso with SMPlayer, or the “Windows disc burning application”, but not with wincdemu…
The only way so far is to create a shortcut on the desktop, and drag an iso file onto that.AnonymousParticipantHi, same issue here on Windows 7 x64 with WinCdEmu 3.6, when I mount a big image from a samba share.
Any update on that one?
AnonymousParticipantCome’on Bazis…you have some respect for people using you software? We don’t want many changes/feature, but something really simple for you but very important for us.
Can you change two line of code or you don’t have time?Sorry for being rude, but it’s not fun to wait many years ( yes, years ) for a new portable version.

When the new portable version exit?????????????
We need this feature:
A command-line to mount image
Driverquery to uninstall
DO NOT remove drive before removed the ISOThanks
INDEEED ❗
Totally agree!
October 12, 2012 at 11:41 in reply to: VERR_PDM_INVALID_DEVICE_GUEST_BITS Error using Virtual KD #2096AnonymousParticipantThis worked for me:
– Uninstall VirtualBox
– delete c:Program FilesOraceVirtualBox directory
– delete c:Documents and Settings.VirtualBox directory
– Reinstall VirtualBox
– Reintegrate VirtualKdAnonymousParticipantHallo,
I have got the same promblems. I am running Windows 7 64-bit version. The file above you have submitted seems to have the same version number with a different file date, so I guess it is a newer version, although the last posting is quite old.So now I have got 3 questions:
1) I assume, this could fix the problem, is this correct?
2) I have found 3 locations of this file. Could you please tell where to put it?
3) Is it possible that you include the new file into the download? Thanks 🙂
Oh, if you need the dump files: https://dl.dropbox.com/u/22253273/minidumps.zip
AnonymousParticipantIs there a solution found – i’ve same problem now
