    Hi,

I have a little issue since I updated my visualGDB : every time I launch a debugging session on Android, a logcat window appears in Visual Studio, but since a lot of information are logged, it just freeze Visual Studio and make it just unusable…
Is there a way to remove the poping of this window every time I launch de debugger?

    Thanks!

That should be posted either in another thread or contact support directly. This thread is about WinCDEmu. Just saying. 😀

What I noticed is that after you mount and unmount/eject more than 3 disc images (no matter what file format, track size, etc), it crashes after that. I think if you reinstall it or restart the computer it fixes it, but I would much rather find the issue than reinstall every time I wanted to mount a new image.

    @highend

I have opened a thread for the same feature request

Many people ask for this but no positive response by bazis…

in reply to: how to include header files? #2225

Have spent hours and hours on this…

Copied the header files to where you indicated, also the libs.

But simply will not find them. Always get:

    VisualGDB remote project path: /tmp/VisualGDB/c/temp/Projects/LinuxProject1/example
Sending 1 updated source files to build machine…
    make CONFIG=DEBUG
    g++ -ggdb -ffunction-sections -ffunction-sections -O0 -DDEBUG -c example.cpp -o Debug/example.o -MD -MF Debug/example.dep
C:tempProjectsLinuxProject1exampleexample.cpp(2,20): fatal error : Python.h: No such file or directory
    compilation terminated.
    make: *** [Debug/example.o] Error 1

    Confirmed, reconfirmed, everything.

And here is the kicker: I have two projects, one a shared library and the other the hello world exe. In the hello world exe it DOES find and use python.h and compiled correctly. But although the shared library project is configured identically, it does NOT find the python.h file even though it is in the directory you suggested.

Really not sure what to do…is it confusing the visual studio win32 directories and trying them? Any profound difference between exe and shared library in terms of how they use includes?

No problem. VisualGDB is *amazing*. I am tremendously happy such a thing exists.
I look forward to using it for years.

And to be clear, you are suggesting *not* using the local cross compiler but rather use SSH in all cases? Even if the wizard works?

    Best,
    Gregory

I have full admin, all is writable on both raspberry and Windows
default settings entirely (just following the tutorial verbatum.
    browse dialogs work fine

I had beta1 of your tool, but found a link to beta2 and installed that, but that did not help.

Everything works absolutely perfectly, responds correctly, I get to the last page of the wizard, click Finish and “bing” bing bing. Can’t close the dialog.

But no indication of any problem at all up until then.

The only anomoly I encountered is installing the mono utility on the remote raspberry. Got a lot of conversion errors on monodoc, but the remote utility seems to run fine.

I will try the registry and see if that helps anything.

Finally I got it work too.

I started up vmmon and I’m using the named pipe to connect to the win7 vm.

Driver loading and unloading works! (no lockup of visual studio like another user reported in the forum).

When it tries to discover the remote host I picked the IP address of the virtual machine and entered it manually (it did not seem like an input field because it flashes quickly and deletes all the input, so typing in the IP address is impossible but someone can copy and paste the ip address and press return quickly

bazis it would be really nice if you could update this genius application and/or the sourcecode for it
