Sometimes I need a file to be in 1-byte encoding, for example when I use national symbols with 1-byte fonts.

The warning “The current file is using an encoding that is not supported by Clang IntelliSence” is a little annoying because it’s bright and cannot be closed.

Can you please make this warning dismissable?

Thanks for confirming your support status. You can turn off unsupported encoding hints using the “Show Unsupported Encoding Hints” setting under Tools->Options->VisualGDB, as long as you are using the latest VisualGDB 5.5R2. See this page for the exact and up-to-date path of the setting.
