Is the MinGW environment linked above current?  I’m having trouble with the STM32L496 series not being supported by OpenOCD.  I pulled down the most recent source from the fork linked above and the MinGW environment, but I’m getting errors when running ./bootstrap about libtoolsize being required but not found.

Thanks!  I’m looking forward to that.  Any ideas on when OpenOCD will support it?  Currently I’m using version 20161025 installed through VisualGDB and it does not properly detect the STM32L496 as part of the L4 family.  I’m wondering if I should just try patching it myself or if it will be addressed soon enough that I can just wait.

    Thanks in advance.

With the upcoming bump to the new intellisense engine are there any plans to support CubeMX more directly?  It’d be great to generate VisualGDB projects direct from CubeMX, but a close second would be to be able to import more completely from any of the existing automatically generated projects, not to mention automatic use of the installed CubeMX firmware/middleware libraries and templates.
