I’m experiencing this same issue on Vista SP2 32-bit.
Windows indicates it’s a Data Execution Prevention error.
What would be the necessary steps to include a dump?

AnonymousParticipantYes, is true and isn’t the first time.
We wait a new version from a looong time 😀
Maybe a portable version with this three feature1) Command-Line for Mount-Unmout the DVD
2) Unmount the DVD, not the device itself
3) Add “driverquery” after uninstall the driverA dream? The last portable version was october 2010
I think one year for a new version is more than enough time
x_MAnonymousParticipantYou have try to unmout the DvD1 before mount the DvD2?
AnonymousParticipantYes! I have this problem too, it’s very annoying!

the latest version 3.6. But I noticed this bug since first using WinCDEmu, starting with version 3.3.

Thanks for the reply, the driverquery works [this solution should be integrated in the next portable version].
I hoped that the portable version would declare/integrate itself as an USB drive: and there is no need for administrator rights…
If the new portable version would also have a command line functionality this would be a magnificent solution!I don’t think we see soon a new portable version, Bazis not interested at the moment.
Fro the command line, i have suggested a couple of pages ago.AnonymousParticipantThanks for the reply, the driverquery works [this solution should be integrated in the next portable version].

After uninstalling driver, I restarted the portable version.
A “Driver Installation failed” message tells me: The specified service has been marked for deletion.
Probably one has to reboot… but this is NOT the intension of a ‘portable installation’
stating “You can uninstall the driver at any moment…”
Any way to solve/fix this?(by the way can a regular user (not an administrator) install the portable version?)
