We have just ported a minimally usable subset of VisualGDB to our CodeVROOM IDE, that runs on Windows, Linux and MacOS. You can read the release announcement here.

We are pretty flexible on what gets ported next, so if you have suggestions for specific features, feel free to post them here.

The Vitis 2025 Unified IDE project format has been updated, and old projects can no longer be imported. Are there any plans to add compatibility support?

    Hi,

We do not have that many Vitis users, so this is currently towards the end of the queue, after better STM32CubeMX integration and Renesas device support. If your company holds VisualGDB licenses, or your team is considering VisualGDB for the next project, feel free to reach out to our sales from your company email address, and we might be able to get it working faster.
