I did a lot of digging and it looks like trying to dynamically choose between FLASH and SRAM for an already existing project isn’t really that straightfoward. I looked and formed the impression one could edit some files and make this a build configuration choice but it’s a bit fiddly and error prone (and I might have misconstrued what I saw).
But this would have generic appeal (for targets that support it) and would allow these two options to be evaluated during development whereas today it seems pretty contrived to do this.

Thank you, I fully understand your position re: support costs.
I rarely find myself seeking support here so it would be money wasted I think. Although I’m a professional software developer (and initially studied electronics) I play around with these MCU systems for leisure purposes, hobby so to speak.
If I used this for anything more I would certainly renew my support.
