    I’m getting the error below when trying to setup an SSH target with no password.  The username is “root” and the password is blank.

    I had to downgrade to 5.3R8, create the target, then upgrade back to 5.4 🙁

     

    VisualGDB version: 5.4.1.2075
    —————— System.Security.SecurityException ——————
    System.Security.SecurityException: Wrong password.
    at ji1.k2(u31 c, SSHConnectionSettings b, String a, Boolean& d)
    at ji1.t1(SSHConnectionSettings b, String d, m1 e, Boolean a, Boolean c)
    The Zone of the assembly that failed was:
    MyComputer

    Thanks for reporting this, looks like a side effect of the recent WPF redesign of the authentication GUI. Please try this build: http://sysprogs.com/files/tmp/VisualGDB-5.4.1.2081.msi
