    Hello,

    I think I have encountered a problem with the FreeRTOS Plugin.

    If I define something like this the Queue is shown in the List of the Live Watch unter Synchronization Primitives:

    static osMessageQueueId_t queueTest

    But if I add the keyword volatile to the global variable it is not shown anymore in the list.

    My problem is that I have to do so, because it can be that my initialization of the queues are delayed and made in a task, therefore to assure that it stills works I have to use this keyword. But this shouldn’t really affect the tabs that are shown in the plugin, right?

    Hi,

    Thanks for confirming your license. We have managed to reproduce the issue – it looks like a particular corner case with parsing a chain of DWARF debug type redirections.

    We have fixed it in the stand-alone build [CodeVROOM-0.8.0.368.exe]. It supports opening CMake-based VisualGDB projects out-of-the-box, and the FreeRTOS queues are shown under Debug->Windows->RTOS Objects. If it fixes the problem, we will run a few checks on the VisualGDB build from the same branch, and will publish the hotfix here.

    Hi,

    okay, thank you very much. I appreciate the update.

    Then I’ll wait for the release in VisualGDB, as my personal preference is to continue working with Visual Studio rather than switching to CodeVROOM.
