    Hi!

    I’m using Vista SP2 (german) + winCDemu 2.3.0.1

    I always get the error
(german: “das System kann den angegebenen Pfad nicht finden”
translation to english: “the system cannot find the selected path”)
when I try to mount an iso-image that is located on an cifs / smb server.

The cifs-shares are mounted by name, e.g. net use s: \server.univie.ac.atshare
    and by IP-addresses, e.g. net use s: \131.130.x.yshare

I tried to mount the iso-images from within the windows-explorer by double-klick as well as the context-menu “select drive letter & mount”
and through the command-line using “vmnt s:pathfile.iso” – without luck.
When using UNC, e.g. “vmnt \server.univie.ac.atsharepathfile.iso” the system tries to log me in and returns an error, because the windows-user is different to the user on the cifs-server.

Is there something I can do or is it a general problem mounting iso-images located on cifs-server?
    Thank you anyway,
    Rolf
