I’m trying to use the Using WiringPi library with Raspberry PI cross-compiler as described here : http://visualgdb.com/tutorials/raspberry/wiringPi/

However, for some or other reason the “Syncronize sysroot” button remains disabled (greyed out) on my computer. I tried verifying a couple of times that all my settings are correct, but I could not figure out why.

BTW : I still use the evaluation version of VisualGDB. Could that explain why I cannot use this feature?

    Hi,

The trial version is fully featured, so that is not the problem.

The “synchronize sysroot” button is usually disabled if you are not using a cross-toolchain but instead building on the Raspberry Pi itself. On the Project settings page in VisualGDB Project Properties what is the “remote computer used for building and debugging”? Also what is the toolchain name next to the “synchronize sysroot” button?
