    Hi,

    The current embedded BSP for STM32 devices (version 4.2) contains an outdated HAL driver library for STM32F2xx MCUs (version 1.1.3, 29 June 2016). The current version of the STM32F2 HAL is 1.6.0 (14 April 2017).

    I am therefore unable to compile code generated by STM32CubeMX. HAL version 1.1.3 is not available within STM32CubeF2.

    Is there any chance the embedded BSP is updated with the current libraries in the near future?

    Which version of the STM32CubeF2 firmware packages should I use for the time being? Apart from version 1.6.0 there are versions 1.4.0, 1.3.1, 1.2.0 and 1.1.1 available.

    Hi,

    The BSP 4.2 uses HAL 1.4.0 for STM32F2.

    Hi,

    So when are you going to update the BSP with the latest availabe version of the STM32F2 HAL drivers? It contains a number of very useful additions. Thanks.

    Hi,

    We usually update the BSPs quarterly, so the next update will be released within the next 1-2 months.
