I’ve done a quick evaluation of SmarTTY and there are two silly issues that keep bugging me:
a. Double click selection doesn’t work correctly. If I double click a word and drag the mouse to the right, the clicked word is always included in the selection in other Windows apps. But SmarTTY doesn’t include it. This makes word selection useless and it’s the biggest issue I have found.
b. Improve the detection of current work directory. In RedHat derived distributions (Fedora, RHEL, CentOS, Oracle Linux…), the default title is “user@host:/path” without any space between host and path. This format isn’t recognized by SmarTTY, which forces you to add an space after ‘:’. This is annoying, but can be solved easily editing .bashrc
Otherwise, it’s a great program!
