    Hi Bazis,
when using VisualDDK, do i still have to use vmmon to patch the vm or does VisualDDK do this for me (since i need to copy kdclient.dll to VisualDDK)?
In order to boot with KDVMWare using method B i have to have a debugger attached, otherwise booting stalls. Do i have to keep the debugger open when using VisualDDK?
Or is there a preferred(different?) way to work with VisualDDK+KDVMWare ?
    Thanks,

VMMON is not needed while using VisualDDK, as VisualDDK takes its role using functions from KDCLIENT.DLL.
You can start VisualDDK debugging session even before the target OS is booted. In that case, VisualDDK will connect to VM and will be waiting for the OS to load. Basically, an open VIsualDDK session is completely equivalent to an open WinDbg session, from KDVMWare’s point of view.
