when I try to get packages I get “failed to fetch the package catalog. Do you want to view instructions on configuring a proxy server?”.
The help does not help me. Our company has a tightly managed IT setup and I would not be allowed to configure anything network related
Is there a way to download this packages elsewhere, circumventing the automatic feature? Otherwise VisualGDB would be quite unusable for us
Sure, you can always download the packages manually via this page and install them via the VisualGDB Package Manager.
