Live Watch — Missing FreeRTOS Tab

Hi there,

My embedded project’s Live Watch window no longer displays the “FreeRTOS” tab. This tab was extremely useful for debugging FreeRTOS tasks and I would like to know how to get it back, please.

I recently changed my projects BSP, if that has any relevance.

I’m pretty new to embedded development and VisualGDB so any help here would be greatly appreciated! 🙂

Hi,

The FreeRTOS integration is available starting from the Custom edition. If you have purchased a lower edition, it would work while the trial period was still active, and would then turn off.

If this is the case, you can always upgrade your VisualGDB key via this page or see this page for a full list of the Custom Edition features.

Thank you for your quick response! I checked out the feature comparison table. I am using the “Embedded” version so I guess that explains it.
