    Hey!

Trying out VisualGDB V5 Beta 2 and everything is running smoothly. However, the syntax coloring is slightly off for Visual Studio’s dark theme. The only way I am able to correct this is if I change the VS theme to blue or light, and then back to dark.  Is this a known bug?

    Thanks

    Sean

Yes, this has been fixed in Beta 3.

The Beta 3 update fixes the syntax highlighting issue in the dark Visual Studio theme, however, I am now getting dark backgrounds around text which overlays text selections as a result. This is rather unfortunate as it affects smart highlighting of similar variables/symbols. The link below shows the text background covering the selection colour.

I hate to do this – but I don’t think the above message was read!

    Hi,

Sorry for the late reply. We have looked into it and it looks like some internal VS bug, as we explicitly specify to use the default background color. We will be investigating this further and adding the workaround to it to VisualGDB 5.1.
