Compiling to an Alwinner H5

After creating config settings for multiple chips, with no real problems,  I am having big issues trying to get on target compiling on an Alwinner H5 chip using GCC 5.4 under ubuntu.

 

It just throws up masses of errors, and I’m a bit confused, is there some kind of CFLAG I need to set for an H5 64bit ARM chip?

Hi,

The exact flags would depend on the toolchain you are using. We currently don’t ship any toolchains for Alwinner H5, so we cannot provide a 100% working walkthrough. However if you could share the errors you get here, we might be able to point you in the right direction if we have encountered similar errors before.

in the end I discovered it was due to me including /usr/linux, which another config needed.. it now compiles  fine.
