    Hi

There a few posts similar to this but I haven’t been able to find a way of changing the font of the COM port window – it is a small point but the default font is very large compared with other windows. Another post (https://sysprogs.com/w/forums/topic/change-font-in-ssh-and-gdb-window/) suggested using the Tools->Options->Fonts and colors->Text Editor for the SSH and GDB windows but this does not have an affect on the COM window.

    Version: 5.4R12 (build 3309)

    Any ideas would be helpful.

    Thanks

    Hi,

No problem, please try this build: VisualGDB-5.5.4.3525.msi

It uses the Command window font in the Raw Terminal as well.

Great, thank you that’s much better (however it doesn’t affect the Hex text but this is less of asn issue).

Also the Arduino serial monitor has an option to add a timestamp for each output line that it is very useful 😉

No problem, we have updated VisualGDB to apply the font to both controls. Please try this build: VisualGDB-5.5.4.3541.msi

Timestamps for terminal output sounds like a good idea. We have added it to our backlog and will try to include it in one of the next VisualGDB releases.
