Can’t open RAR files and more now! Help?

Hello!

I find your program and it is really nice and very fast. It’s doing what i want.
BUT!

Now are many file extensions linked to wincdemu. I don’t want that!
Why i can’t chose that in the install menu? It should be available!!!

Can you tell me how i can make the changes thru wincdmenu roll back? I need this program but it’s annoying if i want to open iso or my rarfiles and wincdemu is in between!

I’ve got the same issue.

I’ve uninstalled WinCDemu and Universal Extractor (WinCDEmu does not completely uninstall).
Installed Universal Extractor, everything is associated properly
install winCDemu, and it overrides all of UE’s extensions.

I’m just going to check out alternatives to WinCDEmu and see if it is the cause.

I will add the possibility to choose associated extensions to the next version.
However, has WinCDEmu never associated itself with RAR file. If you’re getting problems with them, they are probably caused by the Universal Extractor, not WinCDEmu.

Just right-click on a *.rar file and set winrar as default application to open *.rar files again!

After mouting an ISO by right-clicking WinCDEmu ist default one…that cause the problem.
OS: WindowsXP-SP3
