    Hi,

When I click ISO file. Then 2 – 3 second after, it came.

    It came from pxhelp20.sys

    But…

    This time I feel like
    viewtopic.php?f=3&t=112#p139

    In case of Win2000’s Blue-screen…
    reason/module : Cdr4_2K.SYS : CD-R Writeing driver
    vendor : Adaptec/Microsoft

In case of Vista 32Bit’s Blue-screen…
    reason/module : pxhelp20.sys : CD-R Writeing driver
    vendor : sonic/roxio

Different vendor , different module , and different OS ,
    But same reason !?

    support
    Keymaster

Surely, same reason. WinCDEmu is not based on a complex virtual SCSI controller and returns STATUS_NOT_SUPPORTED for all SCSI-related requests. I suppose, it is quite a rare case from the filter developers’ point of view, and both filters completely do not expect such situation. WinCDEmu itself does not modify other driver’s code or data. That way, a situation when an unexpected set of valid parameters crashes such a filter, is a bug of this filter. You can try posting crash dumps to pxhelp20.sys driver developers, maybe this will help them pointing out the problem.

    Thank’s.

I installed sonic/roxio CD/DVD writing software once, and I uninstall that software last week.
But the uninstaller never touch pxhelp20.sys , I think.

    So,
I uninstall the pxhelp20.sys by myself , then WinCDEmu run correctly.

    Refer..(In Japanease anyway;-)
    http://forums.roxio.jp/lofiversion/index.php/t54.html
    http://forums.roxio.jp/lofiversion/index.php/t466.html

    Sum..
    WinCDEmu + sonic/roxio CD/DVD Writer = Blue screen.
WinCDEmu + Adaptec CD Writer / WMP7/WMP9 = Blue screen.
WinCDEmu + CyberLink CD/DVD Writer = Run correctly.
