    When I try to install the arm-elf toolchain using the “Embedded Tools Manager” I get a download file is corrupted message. Other toolchains  that I wanted to install went through fine.

    Hi,

    Are you able to install it by downloading and running the installer manually?

    Note that the arm-elf toolchain was replaced with the arm-eabi one and you should not need it at all.

    If it is not needed I will not bother with it.

    OK, no problem. Let us know if you encounter problems with the arm-eabi toolchain.
