WinCDEmu is a great program, and I’ve used it on several systems. On my windows XP system, I can double click on an *.ISO file and it mounts. Then I select the drive in windows explorer, right click, and choose eject to unmount an Image. However, in my windows 7 system, the behavior is different. WinCDEmu has added a button in windows explorer, when an *.ISO file is selected, this button will mount the image as I expect it too, but to eject I have to select the *.ISO file and click the button to unmount it. If I try to eject the image through windows explorer , it ejects the image but I cannot mount any further disks. I suspect that it is not unmounting the virtual device.

Is this new behavior normal, or is there some way to do all ejecting and unmounting from the drive listing in explorer?

    Thanks

    Hello,

i’ve got the same problem on server windows,

impossible to eject the mount image and to delete the letter of disk.

Found a solution with disk manager (left click on computer -> manage -> manage disk)
    delete the drive directly.

    Hope usefull for someone

    Thanks
