    I downloaded this binary and indeed the exe has a digital certificate.

    However, during the install, Windows pops a red dialog indicating:

    “Windows can’t verify the publisher of this driver software”.

    Is this correct? The kernel drivers are still not signed?

    The driver binaries (SYS files) are signed (otherwise Windows won’t load them). The driver package is not WHQL-certified, so Windows pops up a message box.
