VS2010 ddk and multiple projects

Hello,
I’m trying to create multiple projects for a single solution using VisualDDK and existing sources.
The steps are simple enough (http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/h970wzkb.aspx) but each time the new project added becomes its own solution.

I can make multiple projects for one solution with other types (e.g. win32), but I can’t make one solution have 2 projects of type ‘VisualDDK’.
Is this a limitation or is there some other step to take?
