VS connects to VisualDDK homepage – how to disable?

Hello,

First I want to thank you for this amazing Visual Studio add-in!

However, there is one thing I have to complain about. I noticed that the Visual Studio process attempts to connect to the VisualDDK homepage when VisualDDK is loaded.
I do not want this and am therefore searching for an option to disable this behaviour.

I was not able to find such an option in the configuration utility. Is there any way to disable the update check from happening?

Please set HKCUSOFTWAREBazisSoftVisualDDKDDKDebuggerParametersDisableUpdateCheck to 1 (DWORD). However,this will disable the notifications when a new version is released.

Thank you for your response, worked like a charm.
I will of course leave the update notifications enabled on machines here which actually do have internet access, however, until now, starting Visual Studio always resulted in a few ugly lines in the firewall logs 😉
