I successfully installed VisualGDB for Visual Studio 2015 within the last few months. Today I installed Microsoft Visual Studio Enterprise 2017
Version 15.0.26228.4. I assumed all that was needed was simply re-running the VisualGDB-5.2.14.1389.msi install. I press “Change” button, then select Visual Studio 2017 checkbox on the next dialog box. It goes through all the motions of installing. However when I launch Visual Studio 2017, there’s no option for creating a new Visual GDB project. There’s also no “Clang intellisense” dialog at startup time. If I re-run VisualGDB-5.2.14.1389.msi the checkbox for Visual Studio 2017 is not checked.

Any tips for getting VisualGDB to work with Visual Studio 2017?

I have a VisualGDB Ultimate license purchased this month.

    Hi,

Please try selecting “reinstall” in the VisualGDB installer or simply uninstall VisualGDB and install it back. This should fix the integration issues.

Yes, that worked! Thank you.  I completely uninstalled VisualGDB, rebooted and installed fresh; VisualGDB now operational in both Visual Studio 2015 and 2017.  🙂
