Starting VisualGDB

I am setting up the Visual Studio 2008 remote Linux project and get to the screen that is “New VisualGDB Project”
When I go to select the remote computer there seems to be no auto-discovery on the windows computer; however, the linux computer
shows “Discovery request from 192.168.1.69:xxx” in the terminal window that mono was started in.

Obviously, I have missed a configuration step in either windows or linux.
Help would be appreciated.

Please try disabling the firewall on both Windows and Linux.
If this does not help, please add a separate network card to your VM configured in the Host-only mode.
