    Hi,

    I had VisualGDB installed with VS2017. VS2019 was also installed. Some days ago it asked if I wanted to update. I updated VisualGDB.
    Then I uninstalled VS2017. When I started VS2019 all VGDB-Project were listed as “incompatible”. I tried deinstalling VisualGDB. This was not possible because a “license.rtf” file was missing. After I created the file I could uninstll VisualGDB. But now I can’t install it. I get an error “Das angegebene Konto ist bereits vorhanden.” which means “The selected account already exists.”

    What can I do to install VGDB again?

    Hi,

    Sorry about that, it looks like a known issue of the Windows installer triggered by broken dependencies between products.

    As a workaround, please try running the following tool from Microsoft that can automatically repair the installation database: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/17588/fix-problems-that-block-programs-from-being-installed-or-removed
