Problem with visualgdb on beaglebone black

Hello friends. I ‘m testing the evaluation version of visualgdb in beagleboneblack and I’m having some problems.
I’m following the steps of your tutorial on how to build an app with gdb in VisualStudio .
I connected the USB cable BEAGLEBONE with usb cable . ( ethernet over USB) and at the time of push the finish button , displays an error when trying to load data to the folder /temp in bbb        ( can not load data). I have to use a real ethernet cable?

If you can otherwise connect to the board (e.g. with SmarTTY), the USB cable should be OK. Most likely the problem is caused by insufficient permission on the /tmp folder.

Can you upload files there using SmarTTY? If yes, could you share a screenshot of the error displayed by VisualGDB?
