Problem in split images

I encountered a possible problem in WinCDEmu.

I got an ISO image consisting of 2 files, file01.iso and file02.iso .

Mounting appeared O.K., the size of the virtual device reflected the added sizes of the two iso files,

and I could see all files in the virtual device.

The problem started, when I wanted to copy a file from this virtual disk to another location.

Due to its size, I assume that this file crossed the border between the two parts.

Copying started and proceeded very far, until there was a message telling me about a possible error.

After roughly 5 (five) weeks there is no sign of activity.

For me, the issue had been solved, before I started the thread.

I tried several of the many free Commanders that exist, until I found one which did not show the behaviour of WinCDEmu.

 

I wanted to be helpful for other users and also for the creators of WinCDEmu.

Maybe in the near or far future this will work.
