Install VisualGDB for 2 versions of Visual Studio (2015 and 2017)

    Actual: I have installed MS Visual Studio 2015 and VisualGDB 5.3r8.

    New: In addition to the actual installation, I want to install MS Visual Studio 2017.

    My Question: How shall I proceed to have VisualGDB installed in both Visual Studio versions (2015, 2017)?

    • When I start the VisualGDB installer (*.msi) again, it asks about “Change”, “Repair” or “Remove”.
    • Is it possible to add the already installed VisualGDB (for VS 2015) in the VS 2017?

    Hi,

    Please try clicking “Change” in the installer and selecting both VS versions. If this doesn’t work, please uninstall VisualGDB and then run the installer again. This will preserve your settings, downloaded packages and other data.
