I just installed the latest STM Devices Package (2020.10) and was disappointed to find the same freeRTOS version (10.2.1 releases May 2019). I was really hoping to use the new multiple-notifications-per-task that comes with 10.4.0. Does sysprogs have any plans to update the freeRTOS version anytime soon? They are up to 202011.00 which comes after 10.4.1.

The FreeRTOS package included in the STM32 BSP is taken from the latest STM32F7 SDK at the moment of the BSP generation. Hence, once ST updates the STM32F7 SDK to include FreeRTOS 10.4.1, our BSP will include it as well.

That said, you can always fork our STM32 BSP generator and tweak it to use any versions of SDKs and frameworks of your choice.
