    I would like a way to open an arbitrary file from the remote system while editing a project. These are often files that are not mentioned in CMake but are still important to a project. This feature might exist, but I have not found it.

    Thanks for the suggestion. We have added a “File->Open->Open a Remote File via SSH” command to the following build: VisualGDB-5.5.2.3402.msi

    Let us know if you have any feedback on the new feature.
