Evaluating for Cortex M3

I am working on installing VisualGDB as we speak for an embedded application using NXP’s LPC1788 processor. I wanted to see if anyone in the forum had gone through the process of setting this up and debugging hardware with it. Are there any gotchas? What is the process for setting up a scatter file to specify the location of the stack and heap?

You can easily use VisualGDB with the free CodeSourcery Lite toolchain.
