Embedded Cmake Debug/Release Config

Hello Together

I tried to configure seperate build options for Debug and Release target of an embedded Cmake Project I set up with VisualGDB-5.6R5.

I found different forum entries about a familar topic.

 

For example: https://visualgdb.com/documentation/projects/cmake/

But im not happy with this method for conditional defines which is based on manual edit in the CMakeList.txt.

In this thread: https://sysprogs.com/w/forums/topic/custom-build-steps-on-cmake-projects/ I found a reference on an other method how my need can be solved. But then I mentioned that in my embedded CMake Project the Custom Build Steps tab is not available. Like in this Picture()

 

So my question is how can i accomplish to set conditional defines/build options per each configuration seperatly over GUI? Or how I reach the custom build steps i mentioned above?

The Custom Build Steps page is available on VisualGDB Custom edition or higher. If you are using a lower edition, you can always upgrade your key here: https://sysprogs.com/splm/mykey
