    I just downloaded the demo version of VisualGDB (twice as a matter of fact). But when I try to install it on my Windows 8.1 computer, then I get a message that reads “The system administrator has set policies to prevent this installation”. I was using a user account with Administrator rights. I also disabled driver signing, but that did not help either.

    Anyone have any advise for me?

    Never mind…. I just decided to try and dowload it once more and now the installation has started. I did not do any thing special to fix it…. just happy its working now.
