I got the notification that the STM32 BSP V3.4 was available for update. I clicked yes, it said it installed successfully, but now when I go to start a project or open an existing one the BSP is not listed. I am prompted to install the package, but a pop up says that it’s already installed and would I like to replace it. I click yes, but it still doesn’t appear in the Embedded Tool Manager.
Forgot to add: I can download and install any of the other BSPs just fine, and the BSP for the STM32 does show up in the BSP folder, but isn’t recognized in the embedded tool manager. This is on Windows 7 64 bit
Sorry to post so many times, but uninstalling the current production version (5.0) and installing the latest beta version seems to fix the issue. Though reinstalling the production version still has the same issues as before.
Is the beta version stable enough to use everyday?
Yes, the beta has a few minor issues, but is generally stable. We have updated the BSP definition so that it will only show up as an update for the latest VisualGDB 5.1.
