    VisualDDK 1.5.6
    Host: windows 2008 x64 R2, Visual Studio 2010 Team Suite SP1
    Guest: Windows XP SP3 in VMware workstation 8.01, VirtualKD 2.6

    VS2010 can’t connect to DDKLaunchMonitor.exe after I click “start debugging driver”.

    I have installed VirtualKD 2.6 in guest XP SP3, and rebooted in debug mode, disabled windows firewall and launched DDKLaunchMonitor.exe .

    BTW: After successful installation of VisuaDDK, there is no menu item “start debugging driver” and “driver launch settings” in my Visual Studio 2008, so I have to use Visual Studio 2010.

    It seems that you have set ‘Start debugger automatically’ option in vmmon. Just turn it off and it’ll be ok.
