The user variables configuration section has gone missing from the VisualGDB Project Properties page. This used to be the last entry in the list of settings categories on the left. There is now nothing below “Additional GDB Commands”. The variables are still defined in the properties XML file, and appear to be used during the build process. I just cannot access them using the GUI as before. This is true for all VisualGDB projects that I am working on. I have not upgraded or modified either VS or VGDB. What would cause this?
Hi,
The user variables are supported starting from the Custom edition. If you are using a lower edition, VisualGDB won’t display the related property pages.
You can always upgrade your edition via http://sysprogs.com/splm/mykey or simply use the Windows environment variables instead if you don’t need the other Custom edition features.
