    I’m trying to start a new project using a STM32 Nucleo F401RE. I’ve followed the tutorials and have tried two different methods: the armeabi and the gnuarm. Both of them fail with the error “Toolchain test failed” right at the start.

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Can you share the toolchain test log? Alternatively you can ignore the toolchain testing error, create your project and try to build it. Do you get a meaningful error message that way?
