Hi,
when I start WinCDEmu-Settings as a limited user (Win7 64bit) then nothing obvious happens except my mouse cursor switches very fast between the default cursor and the cursor with a small hour glass on its side…
It seems some process in the background tries to start the WinCDEmu-Settings continuously in a loop (and presumably fails silently doing this)…
When I wait about 5 minutes my system runs out of ressources…Version: WinCDEmu 3.6
Does anybody see the same behavior?

I have the same problem on all running machines [Windows Server 2008 R2 {x64}, Windows 7{x86}]
since a short time. It was working in the past. What I am suspecting is some updates to the VC++
runtime ?? What you are missing, is an open taskmanager … You would see, that thouthends
of processes named “vmtn(64).exe” are running and more and more were started, until the system
runs out of resources.Sad to say, I de-installed the software now.
