I have just downloaded and installed the Raspbian Stretch toolchain which has installed successfully on my Windows 10 machine.

    Following the tutorial at: http://gnutoolchains.com/raspberry/tutorial/sysroot

I apparantly need to run <toolchain>\tools\UpdateSysroot.bat however this file does not exist on my machine, neither does the tools folder.

Is there something I have missed?

    Hi,

    I have the same issue.

Did you find solution for that?

Hi, yes, I downloaded the universal toolchain (aka raspberry-gcc4.6.3-nosysroot.exe) and copied over the tools subfolder into my Stretch installation.

It may be possible to use the universal toolchain directly, but it’s a significantly older version of gcc than is included with stretch.

Argggh, the universal toolchain link is broken….

    http://sysprogs.com/files/gnutoolchains/raspberry/raspberry-gcc4.6.3-nosysroot.exe

Please repair it as this tool is essential when we add libraries development packages on the target. libsdl-dev for example…..

@neilneil2000, would it be possible for you to send me a Tools.zip archive please?

    Al
