    Moin,

    I’ve upgraded my VS2017 installation to version 15.4.4 and find that VisualGDB 5.2r6 does no longer work. As an example if I open the view “Manage VisualGDB Packages” the view does not react to user input. When I close the view then VS2017 does not work as well and I have to restart the application. Is it possible that VisualGDB is not compatible with the latest VS2017 update ?

    Hi,

    Do you mean VisualGDB 5.3r6? If not, please update to the latest version. If yes, we can confirm that we tested it with VS2017 15.4.4 and found no problems. Please try repairing the VS installation and reinstalling VisualGDB.

    Good morning,

     

    you suggestion to repair VS 2017 and then reinstalling VisualGDB helped getting rid of the issue.
