Compatability problems with WinCDEMU and some players

Let me say first WinCDemu is a great program. But I am having some problems when using it to mount DVD ISOs and playing the video. I’m using Windows XP SP3 and WinCDEmu 3.4 signed. Windows Media Player and VLC seem to work fine, I can play the video and umount the ISO afterwards. However, KMPlayer and Media Player Classic both play the movie, but afterwards the ISO does not unmount and WinCDEmu does not run normally afterwards, can mount any new files and this requires a restart to fix. I prefer to use KMPlayer, so does anyone know if there is a solution to make this work?

What do you mean by “does not unmount”? What exactly happens?
My bet is that your player “forgets” to close some of the files on the image, so, closing the player before unmounting the image should help.
