    Hi,

    I’m having this issue in which I can’t load a project onto Visual Studio because a “FindComponents.props” file is missing from “AppData\Local\VisualGDB\” directory.

    Following this link, it says this file should be generated/updated whenever the “.\VisualGDB.exe /pkgmgr” command is run. I have done this countless times but to no avail.

    I tried this both with VS2022 + VGDB5.6R9 and VS2019+VGDB5.5R5. I also tried this link’s steps, but with no effect.

    Could this be because I am running on a machine with Windows 11 installed?

    Hi,

    Manually generating build scripts with VisualGDB requires a valid license. Please make sure VisualGDB is activated by running VisualGDB.exe /about and entering your activation key there.
