The CC3100/3200 products are packed with new features that allow you to easily create Internet applications, establish a secure Wi-Fi and Internet connection and enable battery-operated devices. TI provides various kits and software tools, reference designs, sample applications, development documentation and E2E community support.
It is a wireless microcontroller (MCU) that features an on-chip ARM® Cortex™-M4, plus on-chip power management to boost power efficiency. The development kit is a LaunchPad and comes with a temperature sensor, two LEDs, and an accelerometer.
